Collections: We are happy for our customers to arrange their own collections. If you want to do this you’ll need to call
us at least the day before and make the arrangements, we want to make sure you do not have a wasted journey, we might be
busy unloading or loading other orders & deliveries, so please don’t just turn up on spec!
Deliveries: For deliveries we use a reliable transport company that have fleets of
tail-lift lorries to help ensure that the unloading of heavier items is
as straight forward as possible… but, with some of the lifts weighing
nearly a ton, you will need to make absolutely sure that you have the right
equipment and enough muscle to cope with the weight when they arrive.
If you are not sure of the size and weight of these products we will be happy to answer your questions by
e-mail or phone.
If you are ordering several items, and they can be delivered at the same time, we are happy to pass on any cost saving
we might get on to you.
Charges: As we all know prices do go up for diesel, wages &
steel. We do our level best to give good accurate pricing, all the prices in our website INCLUDE VAT but EXCLUDE delivery and installation. We don't always manage to keep all the prices on every item up to date on the website!
Please drop us a line, or give us a ring, at the time when you plan to order, we’ll confirm all prices and charges applicable.
Your responsibilities: Please ensure that you have specified a delivery address. If the goods are to be delivered to a different address than the invoice please make this clear at the time of ordering. We have had problems in the past, when
deliveries have been attempted at the agreed day & time, but the clients
have not been there to receive them, or not had agreed equipment or manpower available. Please ensure that you are in and
have the right equipment [4 hefty helping hands or a fork lift] to
receive what-ever you have ordered! Only you know what is needed, we
can help giving weights of packages etc. but it’s your responsibility! If you have a gravel or shale drive etc. then it will be impossible to get a pallet truck, loaded with half a tonne of lift, into your workshop from the road unless the truck can reverse right up to the door! Do you have adaquate access? It is your duty to inform us of anything which may impair normal delivery, this includes narrow entrances, steps etc...
