Strongman garage lifts and tools are made, to our specification, to the the highest standards.
Are these made for the UK?
All lifts are fitted with 240 (not 220V) volt motors, we don't "make do" like some others do from other EU & USA markets.
Will it work off my domestic
supply?
Yes, most definitely! All our mobile lifts come with standard 13amp plugs. You will need to fit a 32A breaker on the line but you certainly can use a normal "domestic" supply. The larger lifts may have to be hard wired, call to check the situation.
Are these items CE approved?
All the goods we sell are CE approved & all parts are guaranteed.
What happens if it goes wrong?
We carry spares for all our products, so if you have a problem we can
supply most parts from stock, which is held here in the UK, and can be
with you, usually, within 24 hours.

How does it all work… will it suit
me?
We are not a "box-shifter" unlike many other suppliers we actually use the products we sell, you are
welcome to come along to our warehouse and see the equipment being used! You can try it for yourself and then see if it's for you! We will assist you to make the right choice and can offer "Cash and Carry", "Try Before You Buy" and "Full Service Installation", call us to ask for details.
Where are you, when can we visit?
We are well placed in the Midlands,
close the motorway network, so where-ever you are, we are not that far away!
Just let us know when you’d like to come along
and we will make sure that someone is on
hand to look after you.
Can we collect or must we pay for
delivery?
We are more than happy to help you load your own transport here at our
premises. We have a forklift truck to help load the bulkier items for you. Do
please chat to us first about what trailer or vehicle you intend to use and how you intend to load as we have plenty of experience in out-loading these lifts!
Sometimes we can even arrange weekend collections, but check with us
first as we are often away doing shows.
Deliveries: We use transport companies that have tail-lift lorries, this ensures
that unloading the heavier items we sell is as uncomplicated as possible.
There are price bands for delivery to different areas around the UK
and prices vary from product to product. Please ask us for a quote.

Your responsibility! Because of problems in the past, when deliveries
have been made at agreed day & time, but the clients have not been there to
receive them, please ensure that you are in
and have the right equipment [a fork lift, tractor or at least 4 willing, hefty, pairs of helping hands] to receive
the lifts you have ordered! Only you know what is needed, we can help giving
weights of packages etc. but it’s your responsibility!
We always book our transport to deliver with tail-lift equipped lorries for the mobile lifts! When receiving the larger items, especially the 4 post lifts, you will need to be prepared with a fork lift, tractor or at least three or four heavy duty helpers, to unload from the bed of the truck, but at least, using flat-bed curtain side lorries it will be easier. We don't use articulated lorries to deliver lifts.

we can then pass on to you. How do we do it? When the equipment arrives at the
port, if you have pre-ordered from us, many times we can deliver direct thus saving you & us time and money, so we can pass the benefit on to you!
Payments:
We aim to deliver best value. We welcome cheques (they must clear before we will ship goods), bank transfers (BACS), cash or
debit cards. We do accept credit card payments but charge a 2.5% handling fee.
I’m VAT rated
If you run a business, and are already VAT registered, the VAT invoice is issued as normal.
