We sell to both private buyers and commercial customers. We are VAT registered and offer a VAT invoice with all goods sold.
Private Customers: Retail Sales - Statutory Rights & Cooling-off Period
At Strongman Tools we want you to be delighted every time you you make a purchase. Occasionally though, we know you may want to return items. If you have ordered goods over the phone, then the sale is governed by the Distance Selling Regualations and by law, customers in the European Union have the right to withdraw from the purchase of an item within seven working days of the day after the date the item is delivered. We regret that we cannot accept cancellations of contracts for our vehicle lifts if these have been installed and used. When a vehicle lift is delivered Customers can make a considered judgement as to its' size and build quality before installation. To cancel your purchase, within the seven-working-day cooling-off period, please contact us, giving the reason for the return as "I just don't want it anymore". Please package the relevant item securely and send it to us using an RMA number we will issue you with.
For your protection, we recommend that you use a recorded-delivery service.
Please note that you will be responsible for the costs of returning the items to us unless we delivered the item to you in error, or if the item is damaged or defective. If we do not receive the item back from you with the RMA, we may arrange for return of the item from your residence at your cost so please contact us first.
You should be aware that once we begin the delivery process you will not be able to cancel any contract you have with us for additional services carried out by us (eg: delivery / installation charges etc.)
As soon as we receive the product back, following notice of your cancellation of order, we will refund the relevant part of the purchase price for that item.

Payments: We welcome payment by debit cards, cheques, bank
transfers or cash. Credit cards are also accepted but there is a 2.5% handling fee. All funds must be cleared into our account before goods will be shipped or released for collection.
Special
offers: We will often run promotions at trade shows and events. Special pricing for end of life and ex-demonstration equipment is available, please ask for full details. We currently stock the full range of equipment to ensure customers can get the product they need with the minimum of delay, a modest discount may be available to customers who are prepared to wait for between six to eight weeks for delivery as we can plan their orders into the manufacturing schedule at our factory. If you pre-order quantity shipments we are often able to make genuine
savings that we can then pass on to you. How do we do it? Firstly, being able to schedule production with the benefit or pre-orders enables us to work more effeciently. We are dependant on the price of Steel and the current dollar exchange rate, getting us to quote on your lift and paying a small deposit, secures your order at the agreed price, regardless of fluctuations in exchange rates or commodity costs. If you have pre-ordered in quantity we can pass on savings in shipping, storage and handling by delivering direct.
