Ramps for Mechanics

All Round Access to Make Maintenance Easy
Professional Equipment Designed for the Home Mechanic
We provide lifting equipment designed to be used in the home garage, with 240V operation and features which the domestic user will appreciate.
Typical customers for our lifts include..........
....gentleman retiring from the industry who have had access to lifts all their working life, won't let anyone else touch their cars, and want the opportunity of a lift at home
....classic car enthusiasts who do complete restorations, documenting every stage of work - and those with knees and backs that have suffered over the years and now want to be able to get access to the sump without bending!
....kit car builders, beginning a project from scratch or with the completed vehicle (well they told the wife it was "finally finished") feeling the need to constantly raise and lower the car to tweak it, day and night.....
....home mechanics who laugh when they hear how much their friends are charged by the dealer to change a set of pads
....farmers who buy four posters for the barn
....stock car racers who need to do the car up every week because they were "nudged" into the wall, again (and it wasn't their fault because the visor was covered in mud!)
All joking aside, if you work on your car then a lift will make the job easier. It will be safer than using axle stands, easier to work at the right height rather than lying down, allow regular checks and preventative maintenance to be done at the touch of a button....
The ability to work on your car has so many advantages these days. The knowledge that the job has been done properly, that the work was actually required, saving money on labour costs and the satisfaction of a job well done.

4 Post & Scissor Lifts
The most common question domestic customers ask is "Do I have the Space?"
Often a domestic garage can seem far too small to install a lift, however, our range features professional quality equipment specifically developed for workshops where space is an issue. Most domestic customers will make a choice between a 4 Post or Scissor, or Platform Scissor, Lift. Many may prefer the access and flexibility provided by a 2 Post Lift however the garage or workshop at home rarely meets the base, concrete floor, specifications required. If your floor would support a 2 Post then we can supply the ideal equipment ....... the vast majority of Lifts installed at home will be Scissor or 4 Post.
Working with a Ramp
Would you like to work safely, at a comfortable height, at the touch of a button? We have Scissor and 4 Post Lifts designed for low roofs, tight spaces and tight budgets - whenever you need to lift, maintain or restore your cars!
If you can guarantee safe and secure lifting then the vast majority of jobs will be easier. If you have the space then a 4 Post Lift, combined with a Jacking Beam, is the ideal solution. Affording all round access, the ability to lock into position at the perfect height for the job in hand and providing the stable platform to achieve results quickly and safely, a 4 Post Lift in your garage will quickly pay for itself.
We sell Scissor and Platform Scissor Lifts to those customers who simply don't have the room at home to accommodate a 4 Post Lift. Our Tamar Scissor Lift is a mobile product which can also easily be used outside in the yard (providing the base is concrete). The most popular Lift for customers is certainly our Clifton Platform Scissor Lift. This affords unobstructed access down the centre of a raised vehicle, raises vehicles, up to 3000kg, any height up to a metre, at the touch of a button! It can be bolted into position, or moved with the optional mobility kit, as required and provides an unobtrusive solution as customers can park over the top of it when it's not in use.
